Set Square Productions has had an ongoing partnership with VRC since 2016. During this time, we’ve delivered a number of installations to engage and delight carnival patrons.
The 2016 Cup Carnival kicked off with the unveiling of The Park – Flemington’s newest fashion and entertainment precinct. Set Square Productions was delighted to be engaged to design and build three-metre high rose wayfinding sculptures to help guide patrons at the new precinct.
We have since designed and built a Flemingo Croquet Lawn, the Adore-a-Ball silent disco and a 13-metre high Birdcage Bird Bath Bar for the Birdcage Precinct.

ROSE WAYFINDING
The rose sculptures were designed to capture the essence of the new fashion and entertainment playground, and add to the whimsical carnival atmosphere.
Set Square Productions designed and engineered the stems and signs to be easily reconfigured for future events.
CROQUET LAWN
Set Square Productions was engaged to design and build a Flemingo Croquet Lawn to accompany the brand new Bar Schweppes in The Park, as part of the evolving on-track experience for general admission patrons.
The Croquet Lawn featured five holes including a soundscape, rotating Ferris Wheel and bubble machine.
We substituted flags for rose silhouettes, which tied in beautifully with our rose wayfinding and added a playful element to this cute and interactive pop up.
