Set Square Productions developed and produced this installation for Crown, which combined two iconic symbols – the Crown Melbourne Fire Towers and the Chinese Zodiac Dragon. The work features five dragon silhouettes, painted by local street artists, that appear to breathe fire.

Our team transformed Crown’s fire towers into fire-breathing dragons with a view to increase foot traffic to the Crown entertainment precinct and maximise public relation opportunities for the iconic organisation.

Our role included:

• Design & fabrication of five 10m high fire-breathing dragons
• Providing engineering advice & certification
• Creating a modular design for transport, installation, removal & storage for future use
• Project Management

We needed to create a lightweight non-combustible engineered modular solution for seamless installation and removal, without damaging Crown’s surroundings.
